Finn Comfort shoes are still handcrafted in the original factory, founded in 1945, located in the bucolic village of Hassfurt in the German state of Bavaria.

In their quest for perfect footwear, The Kanner family began importing these handcrafted treasures into Canada in the mid 1980s. What began with a small cult following flourished into a successful business with North American headquarters and distribution facilities in Montreal, Quebec and Thousand Oaks, California. Today, over 1 million pairs are produced each year and sold in over 35 countries worldwide.
