History of Walking On a Cloud Hopechests
In 2006, two Upper Canada Mall Walking on A Cloud staff
members Elaine and Linda, created a ‘Walking on a Cloud’
team to raise funds and participate in the Weekend to End
Breast Cancer benefitting the Princess Margaret Hospital. The
team and our staff worked hard to raise funds. 20 team
members took part in the walk which proved to be an amazing
experience. Together we raised $22,500!
Currently...
we continue to raise money through; vendor sponsorships, in-store
events, company jeans days, breast cancer merchandise sales,
sales of our re-usable shopping bags, family and friends.
Today our team participates in the CIBC
RUN FOR THE CURE. This allows our
employees in various cities to participate
together in their local communities.
In addition, we carry a selection of shoes that
directly support Breast Cancer Research.

During vendor sponsored months both Walking on a Cloud and the sponsoring vendor each donate $2.50 per pair for a total of $5 per pair.
